The work package included:
- Enabling works, such as the creation of access from the road to the site. Including the provision of aggregates and minor civils works. Provision of welfare. Supply and installation of fixed hoarding around the perimeter of the site.
- Clearance works including excavator based mechanical shearing of trees. Forwarders to move material into a centralised stack. Supply of whole tree chippers and walking floors to remove material from site.
- Removal of stumps throughout the site.
- Mulching of the entire site to leave a soil-based finish.
- Supply and installation of a range of bird and bat boxes throughout.
- Working alongside an ecological clerk of works throughout.
- Successful and compliant project delivery.
