Scope of Works and Services carried out:

  • Supply of dedicated project manager, supervisor, resource schedule, and detailed RAMS to complete the project in a 4-week window.
  • Provision of a mechanised arb team using excavators with tree shears and fingered grapples to clear and stack trees and larger diameter scrub.
  • Supply of forwarders and timber trailers to move material to centralised chipping areas.
  • Large scale chipping operation using a self-propelled woodchipper and tractors with silage trailers to remove woodchip from site.
  • Mulching of scrub and hedgerows throughout using PTO mulchers on larger areas and smaller robotic mulchers on more sensitive areas.
  • Roadside arboricultural operations at tie-in/junction points.
  • Installation of bird and bat boxes throughout and creation of ‘bat friendly’ fissures within suitable trees.
